The RAM Mounts GDS Tab-Conn Adapter for Otterbox Defender cases allows the benefits of IntelliSkin technology to be applied to tablets with folio-style cases. By installing this self-adhesive adapter, the USB-C port of the device is protected via an integrated Pogo-Pin connection, making the tablet compatible with the GDS system. An external USB-C 2.0 port at the bottom of the adapter allows device charging, even without a GDS Uni-Conn docking station. The GDS Tab-Conn Adapter is exclusively compatible with all GDS Uni-Conn Docks. This cost-effective solution enables the integration of GDS solutions without the need to remove existing protective cases or invest in new devices.
